We try to keep the minds running throughout the summer and we incorporate Science projects to allow for learning opportunities in the summer. One of the most entertaining science projects for the children is making home-made slime. This activity is quite easy and does not take much time. All the material you need are: Dixie Cups, Elmer's glue, food coloring and borax water mixture. This activity gives the students the chance to explore chemical reactions along with a fun concoction to play with. It would be wise to due this activity in a non-carpeted area because the slime has a tendency to stain carpet.
